“X” marks our current location. slight wind with drizzle.
We evacuated our campsite on The Keys hour’s before it was mandatory. Max wind gusts were 65 MPH, now wind gusts are predicted to reach 85. We drove north to South Bay near Lake Okeechobee. Max wind gusts here are predicted to reach 55 MPH. That to can change
Tropical storm Eta is estimated to hit The Keys with sustained winds of 45 mph and gusting to 65 mph. 8” - 12” of rain are also forecasted. We are leaving The Keys for a while and returning to our site in about 5 days.
